Binding Tape for Satin Nitro Lacquer
8-12 hours is too long for any tape, especially on those satin finishes. I aim for only a couple hours max. I’ll use a combination of the green 3m tape, filament tape, and low tack sign painters tape if its a delicate finish.

Thanks Gerry! I know how it is trying to troubleshoot a guitar without having it in your hands, so I appreciate the effort. I’ll start with the singles and see where it goes from there. Many beers will be consumed before this is over, I suspect.
