Bridge Too Low?

Finishing up a new cutaway acoustic. I thought I had it right before finishing, but now that the finish is done and the neck is bolted on, a straight edge on the frets is 3/32″ over the top of the bridge. Can I work with that, or do I need to either add a shim under the bridge, or just cut a new bridge? Any advice would be greatly appreciated…

I always consider that as I build, I also learn guitar repair. I would do a new bridge or reset the neck, whichever is easier. And I have had to do both on new builds.

New Bridge. Did you go through a radical humidity change ?

What is the height of the existing bridge?

You can work with that. Under string tension the neck will come up a bit anyways. I used to build with the straightedge just grazing the top of the bridge like a lot of folks show you to do, but taller saddles are preferred by most of my dealers.
