Owner complained about buzzing and just a thin, wimpy response….After getting the nut right and making sure the relief was in range, it was still suffering the same symptoms….Then I took a look to see what might be going on with the pins/ball ends, or if there was something loose, and found this.

That’s a sad sight to see. Will you replace that puppy?

It is always amazing how much the bridgeplate makes a difference. Are you going to pull and replace ?

Yeah, as Maxwell Smart used to say, “missed it by that much!” 😆

Since the guitar was new, I suggested he return it. He wanted to know if he should get his money back, or ask for a replacement…I said that it didn’t say much for their QC that something like that was let out of their shop. I mean, was it was a design issue, or just really poor execution?

When he called them, they gave him a hard time because “he hadn’t sent the warranty card to them within 30 days”….but eventually gave in and had him send it back.
