Curious. Has anyone ever had a positive experience with a Stetsbar trem? Every one I’ve had in has been a PIA. This one won’t even carry a string ground.

Never didnt seen one of them. I bet its got a patent.

Hey, I have installed a bunch, scrape the finish off the bottom of it
as sometimes the plating is non conductive thus killing the string ground. Hope this helps!

That’s right. Scrape some finish off the back and it will work fine. I have installed a few. I used to live a short drive away from the owner, so I bought them direct. The owner is the nicest guy. If you ever have any questions with then, give him a call. He ALWAYS has a solution

Once I read the directions, i figured it out. lol. There’s a screw hole on the bottom that has the paint scraped away. I ran a piece of copper shielding tape across the bottom of it to make contact with that screw.
All in all, This trem is kinda cool. Works great.
