I’ve never heard any luths mention them, I’ve bought a few things and found them to be super well thought out and really good quality. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Particularly good prices and variety of rulers but tons of other good stuff.

A few months ago I bought into their drill press chisel sharpening system. They provide the plans for a simple jig that holds your chisel at the correct angle and I love it so far.

Glad to hear someone digs this. Definitely been on my considering list but looks like ill pull the trigger for sure now. Ive bought a bunch of stuff from taylor. You can also do payment plans through the shop app which is cool too.

The sell the actual jig now. I’ve bought a lot of machinist type tools from TayTool.com and they have a great selection of scales, rulers and straight edges too.

I wait for the sales on scratch and dent rulers and squares. Theyre great, I think they are just the rejects from PEC or Starrett.

I’ve been really happy with every purchase I’ve made from Taylor Toolworks (Japanese handsaws and Narex Richter chisels). The shipping was fast and reasonable and they are locally owned family business.
