Hi - I’m purely a hobbyist, learning to rewire a stack of thrift shop guitars that I’ve rescued. Today’s project is an old TEISCO student model and the pickups have three wires. Green is grounded to the base. Red and black both wrapped against the coil. I know what to do with the ground and with one hot wire. What do I do with the second hot wire (red or black)? Thanks for helping a newcomer.

I’ve been speed modelling parts with the printer running 24/7 since inception. There are currently somewhere around 75-100 individual pieces modelled in my source file. I had a vintage Gretsch semi hollow come through the shop this week and it's left me with some questions. First off identifying the instrument's model has been a trick so far. The only information I can find is that is was likely built in and around the early 50's Second, it's in need of a neck reset.
