  • Epiphone inlay

I just got an Epiphone SG in that’s missing one of its trapezoidal MOP inlays. Can those inlays be purchased individually? I know Stewmac sells whole sets.

Also, is it best practice to replace all of them, or is it okay to just replace the one that is missing?

    Thanks!

    <div>Hi. </div>

if it was me, i would fabricate one from a blank.

i am sure there are other suppliers as well. I once bought a bag of inlay material. That is nice to have, because you can select the one that fits best.

I wouldn’t be offended if you just replaced the one that’s missing.

Philadelphia Luthier Supply sells a whole set for around $25. So I bought that, then scanned them to use at a later date in Lightburn on the laser.

The set was close enough in color that I just used the one to replace the missing piece and called it a day.

    Thanks for the feedback, gents!
