Martin issues?
We’ve all seen newer Martins with the binding all hanging off, but I’ve recently had to advise two customers with new Martins (both fancy models) to return them because the necks are underset. Anyone else seen issues like this?

Haven’t seen it on Martins, but I’ve made the same observation (and recommendation) recently with a couple of new higher-end Guilds.

Yup, it’s a thing. I’ve had two within the past year that had the neck angle wrong.

Interesting. Have seen maybe four brand new Martins with underset necks over the last two years. Given how many instruments they make every year, I’m not sure if that’s enough to constitute a trend but it was enough that I noticed. We should take care not to turn this into any sort of builder-bashing thread but, if there is an issue, it seems ok to discuss.
