Airbrush for Sunburst? Is it a thing?
An airbrush patten is a little small for my taste.
Is there a problem you are trying to alleviate by not using a gun ? If you are getting a coarse pattern, three things.
1. You may be shooting in a dry environment and the lacquer is slightly curing before it hits. (add a slow solvent like retarder)
2. You could grab a touch up gun that isn’t…

I use Fill N Finish and Master Tint on fretboards. I can walk you through that by WhatsApp video call if you want.

Ok. Did a refret on a MIM Fender Strat maple neck. Some of the finish came off (was careful AF but….)
It is not lacquer but I assume a poly finish. New lacquer did not meld.
Can/should I use a tinted CA fix? Any tips, color recipes?
Any help would be appreciated. VERY appreciated.
