I guess I could say something about this…
This is the latest rework of my early ’70s Music Master. I’ve reworked this several times over the years. This is the best yet.

Hey!!! I actually have the stew mac neck jig which comes with a vice and shop stand. I bought it a year ago and finally have my workshop ready so am going to set it up this weekend. The total vise stuff looks awesome! Maybe one day if I save up I will get the proper work station!

Laser cutting a fretboard and possibly a bolt on neck
Well, technically you could.
Don’t know what level of knowledge you have about laser cutting, but to make a quick summary, laser cut in a sort of V shape. So first thing I would do about cutting a fretboard is to place a spoilboard under it cause you have to cut through it in order to have parallel sides on the fretboard. That’s of course…

Alex Q Guitarworks started the discussion Fret dressing dilemma in the forum Quick Questions a week ago

It works…

Hey Everyone!
Does anyone have experience with using the neck jig/shop stand setup without bolting the stand to the floor? Eventually I will bolt it down but want to try a few different spots to commit (still working on shop layout). I just had epoxy floors put down and do not want to drill extra holes in the floor! Thanks!

Wiring help with unorthodox tele setup
Hey Bryan
This is a little unusual but I think it should be possible.
The bridge and neck are wired to the 3-way as usual. There’s a fixed 470K resistor between the bridge and ground. Using a 500K pot for volume, this means that the pot’s resistance is halved when the bridge pickup is active — it makes the bridge positions only see (approx) 250K.…
