Brazilian Rosewood sides thickness
I’m building my first BRW guitar, started with the back, pictured below.
What do you normally thickness BRW sides to? I guess they can probably be a bit under 2 mm, but I don’t want to overdo it in case there is some slight deformation that needs to be sanded later.
I bend manually on a heating iron if that makes any difference.

Lee Valley FYI
Got a letter (a month after the fact) from Lee Valley Tools that they got hacked and their customer card payment data (yep ALL of it including the CVV) got stolen. If you did a CC transaction with them from last Oct to mid-March your card data is available on the dark web. Nice.

I wasn’t familiar with the loothalong, thanks! I *think* I have figured it out, first checking for mystery bumps/undercutting further and using sidewise flossing (we need better names for this!) on the purple tape side and base of the neck.
If I don’t get it in an hour or so, then I’ll jump into the loothalong. Thanks Ian and Pete for putting…
