Yea we would just want to put a slight gap in-between them, say .2mm, could even have some support materials in the middle for easy separation

Good call, I expect that will eliminate the layer lines to make the angle.
I will try that, and once improved, will do other degrees as well.

One thing you might try is changing the orientation to have it on the side. You might print it as a block of 5 so it self supports and then split after. I bet @patreon_41670846 might know how to do that.

Just finished first attempt at a neck shim. This is 1 degree, solid infill.
I will post, and work on 1/2 and 1/4 degree as well. Change fill to 100, and must be rectilinear.

Large chunk of square stock with a strip heater element mounted inside it. I think those two things cost me about $60 US if you have a metal…

Need help with 1915 Gibson Mandolin
Man I feel like I’ve done more of these than I care to remember. Most come together great, others, meh.
The first thing I do is bag it up and humidify it really well for a week or so. This will swell the back closer to its original shape. The back shrinkage over the last 100 years is definitely a contributing factor. Then I have two cauls; one…
