    Luthiers Mercantile FGX glue (rip) any idea where it comes from ?

    I love the FGX glue from LMI and they are out and not restocking. They will not divulge its place of origin. Do any of you fine folks have the secret source?

    Matthew Larrivee said he hipped them to it. He’s waiting for the go ahead from them to spill the beans.

    I believe it was a Yellow PVA glue with a fluorescent dye added to it. The closest thing I could find was Richelieu Yellow Glue – LIONGRIP 3000.

    what are the advantages over Titebond? Just the UV dye?
