Pressure treated wood on Harmony?…
Howdy, folks!
I’m playing around with an old Harmony Stella, and when I couldnt quite get the neck off with heat (still a newb here), I just sawed it off. Underneath was a delightful green colored dovetail.
Is that pressure treated wood or over the decades mold just got into the wood that deep?

That is probably just some extraordinarily green poplar. But it does look funky, even for poplar.

I’ll occasionally check the poplar at Home Depot for good 1/4ed stuff. I’ve certainly seen some very green boards over the years much like that.

oh wow he cut through that dovetail. That is a wild color for wood.
