Thanks for the great cauls Dave, I put my 3D printer away a couple years ago because I hadn’t quite learned to use it, and my apprentice Ceil Thompson did. (Ceil spent her junior and senior years building her own design electric guitar as an outside-school senior project. When she graduated she went to Bryan Galloup’s Guitar Making school where she excelled. She just got back and I unpacked the Ender 3D printer and we set it up and the first things we printed where Ian’s pickguard cauls and some of your cauls. Thanks for sharing! Dan
Your welcome Dan. I had an unusual guitar recently that needed a larger offset for the slotted caul to get the outside clamp centered on the bridge wing. I should add this new one to the caul posting. That’s the fun part – encountering something new and adapting a tool. I try to keep up with all your videos, and I watched your Pick guard fix video this morning. Thanks for all the effort you put into sharing useful tips with the looth community!
