Noticed that with that neck off the truss rod channel was exposed, this could be a much easier way to replace truss rods than taking off the fingerboard. Especially on a bound neck!
Hey Dave, I would say you are right. Though you can see the end of the truss rod, the access is in a way a door to a room that holds the ass end assembly of the truss rod. A quick quick few taps of the chisel Would that little doorway far enough for that little button/washer to get tapped out.
