Here is a super basic thing I just modeled and 3d printed. Small drill guides to place a 2mm hole directly centered in the side of a fretboard. I made a few sizes for different fretboard thicknesses. Seems simple but its a huge time saver.

Hey all. I have an ’82 Ibanez Roadster bass on the bench. The bridge pickup is their Super J4. My customer wants to tame the noise as much as possible. Turned a folk art wall hanger into a playable instrument. Lots of shortcuts, but it does play. Made the bridge from a hard maple cutoff and carpentry staples. A learning experience for sure.
