I’m curious to hear when other acoustic builders attach their bridges, before or after finishing the top?

Hey friends – great meeting almost all of you in April. I had a blast. I wanted to get y’alls input on our next gathering. Before we pick the best day of the week, I got to thinking that quarterly might be best? This way we keep it a little more fresh. How does end of July sound?
Should we meet in person, quarterly?

I tried a lot with 50s Cherry and Walnut Stains and ended with the WD Lockwood alcohol soluble dyes. Does anyone know what is the right color on the 50s Cherry and Walnut stains? Or do i have to mix some? Thank you

Brazilian Rosewood sides thickness
I’m building my first BRW guitar, started with the back, pictured below.
What do you normally thickness BRW sides to? I guess they can probably be a bit under 2 mm, but I don’t want to overdo it in case there is some slight deformation that needs to be sanded later.
I bend manually on a heating iron if that makes any difference.
